Wellbeing & You…
“What does wellbeing mean
to you?”
-
It means taking care of my physical self alongside my emotional self; it's knowing and enforcing my boundaries even if I won't be liked for it; it's having deep and peaceful respect for myself and knowing what that looks like to me on a daily basis; it's living my life in accordance with what works for me, not what other people tell me will work for me (ie. meditating for 5 minutes a day instead of feeling nothing less than 20 minutes is worth it.
-
To me, wellbeing means a lot, because good self care is so important to have in my everyday life. I need to have good self care in order to function well in my life and live a fulfilled existence, which is balanced.
-
Wellbeing for me is being emotional, physical and mentally balanced. Not being overwhelmed or triggered by past trauma’s. Being able to regulate my emotions. It’s also being able to find the balance when challenges occur.

It helped me a lot and i'm so happy I signed up for this. Sam is an amazing and extremely caring person. Her sessions were deep, informative and sometimes even fun. She gave me lots of useful advice and taught me how to utilise breathing techniques. I use it many times before going to sleep, and my sleeping quality has improved a lot. I have started to read the books she told me about. She made me understand how important it is to to not give a heck for some kinds of stuff that I cannot control. Overall I am really satisfied with these sessions and I can't express how much I admire and respect your work. What you are doing is simply amazing!

“I am so thankful for your patience, guidance, directness and care - you’ve enriched my life and I can’t think of a better role model for the type of therapist I am and continue to be. My husband has often expressed his appreciation as well; he’s seen my growth and thanks to what I’ve brought home from our sessions, has grown as well - we continue to ‘check in” with each other as you and I so often talked about and it’s created the healthiest and most supportive relationship I've ever experienced (not unlike our relationships)”

”Thank you so much for all that you have taught me. I did not realise just how many “masks” I wore. I now know that it’s fine to remove the masks and just be myself”. The life stories were extremely hard to hear and for some reason I decided to share my deepest darkest secret” with you and the group. I am so glad that I did as I could never really move on in my recovery whilst holding on to it. You have helped me to believe in myself and that I really can move on in a positive way in my life I will always be grateful to you. With love”

“Hi Sam, It was lovely to work with you too – thank you so much for your insight and advice – it was hugely beneficial. I hope we get to work with you again, perhaps on-set, rather than in similar circumstances”
